Acerca de las interpretaciones de la vida, obra y legado de Gino Germani: una propuesta de sistematización

Abstract

Este trabajo persigue el objetivo de acceder a una definición lo más precisa y acabada posible del estado actual del conocimiento en torno de las interpretaciones de la vida, obra y legado de Gino Germani. Para ello, propone un esquema de organización y sistematización de la vasta producción bibliográfica que se suscitó en las últimas cuatro décadas. Con este intento, además, procura contribuir con el desarrollo de líneas de investigación que pongan el mayor esfuerzo en el análisis de los aspectos teóricos, metodológicos, epistemológicos e histórico intelectuales-institucionales implicados en el “proyecto germaniano” y en la revalorización de su legado, no sólo en el ámbito de la sociología argentina y latinoamericana, sino también global. Este trabajo parte de la hipótesis que sostiene que en el desarrollo de las interpretaciones acerca de Germani, se puede observar una tendencia general y creciente hacia la problematización de ciertas áreas temáticas y hacia la profundización de algunas de sus aristas y dimensiones menos exploradas. En primer lugar, el trabajo se ocupa de establecer los criterios metodológicos de los que parte y en los cuales se apoya, para luego, sobre esta base, adentrarse en la propuesta de sistematización propiamente dicha. Finalmente, se ofrecen una serie de análisis y reflexiones que retoman la hipótesis de trabajo al tiempo que dejan planteados nuevos interrogantes.

This work’s main objective is to address a definition as precise and complete as possible of the current state of knowledge regarding the interpretations of the life, work and legacy of Gino Germani. To do this, it proposes a scheme for the organization and systematization of the vast bibliographic production that arose in the last four decades. This attempt also aims to contribute to the development of research lines whose greatest efforts are put into the analysis of the theoretical, methodological, epistemological and historical intellectual-institutional aspects involved in the “germanian project”, and into the revaluation of his legacy, not only in the scope of Argentinian and Latin American sociology, but also global. This work is based on the hypothesis that postulates that in the development of the interpretations about Germani, a general and growing tendency can be observed towards the problematization of certain specific thematic areas as well as towards the deepening of some of its less explored edges and dimensions. Firstly, the work deals with establishing the methodological criteria from which it starts and on which it is based, and secondly, on this basis, delving into the systematization proposal itself. Finally, a series of analysis and reflections are offered, taking up the working hypothesis while leaving new questions raised.
