Abstract

Nowadays, there is an increasing growth in amount of data produced by the numerous resources. There are not only scientific data generated by massively large telescopes like the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) that produces more than 200 PB per year; but also data generated on the Internet and more precisely in social networks. In particular, recently presented statistics indicate that some applications like Facebook produces more than 105 TB of data every half hour, and Twitter produce more than 1000 tweets per second.
