Resultados preliminares de la biodiversidad de invertebrados acuáticos y terrestres del Área Natural Protegida Cuchillo Curá

Abstract

Se dan a conocer datos preliminares sobre la diversidad de invertebrados terrestres y acuáticos del Área Natural Protegida Cuchillo Curá. Se realizaron muestreos intensivos dentro de tres de las cuatro cavidades que comprenden el sistema, así como en superficie, tanto cerca de los ingresos a las cuevas como en zonas más alejadas. Se registró una gran riqueza de taxa en los ambientes epígeos (65 taxa) en comparación con los sistemas cavernarios (7 taxa). Se encontraron cuatro especies nuevas para la ciencia de los ordenes Hymenoptera (Insecta, 2 spp.), Araneae (1 sp.) y Solifugae (1 sp.) y también nuevos registros distribucionales para algunos de los taxa encontrados.

Preliminary data on the diversity of terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates from Cuchillo Cura Protected Area are made known. Intensive surveys were conducted in three of the four cavities that comprise the system and on the surface, both near the caves entrance and in remote areas. A greater richness of taxa was registered in epigeal environments (65 taxa) compared to the caves (7 taxa). Four new species belonging to the orders Hymenoptera (Insecta, 2 spp.), Araneae (1 sp.) and Solifugae (1 sp.) were found, and new distributional records for some of the taxa recorded.
