Políticas de memoria en la ciudad de Ensenada, provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina: Un recorrido bajo la gestión del gobierno municipal desde el 2003 hasta la actualidad

Abstract

En este artículo se desarrollan y explican las políticas de memoria en la ciudad de Ensenada a partir del año 2003 hasta el presente, bajo la gestión municipal del intendente Mario Secco. Es durante este período que situamos una serie de iniciativas ligadas a la construcción de una memoria social y pública sobre el pasado de terrorismo de Estado en la ciudad, llevadas adelante tanto por el propio municipio como por otras instituciones y actores de la sociedad. En este recorrido entonces, se dará cuenta de la coyuntura particular que posibilitó la puesta en marcha y el despliegue de estas acciones, y las articulaciones entre los diversos actores involucrados que, fundamentalmente, reivindican, conmemoran y homenajean a las personas desaparecidas y asesinadas de esta localidad bonaerense.

In this article we develop and explain the Politics of Memory in the City of Ensenada from the year 2003 to the present, under the municipal management of the Mayor Mario Secco. It is during this period that we place a series of initiatives linked to the construction of a social and public memory about the past of State terrorism in the City, carried out by the municipality itself and also by different institutions and actors of the society. In this overview, an attempt will be made to give an account of the social political context that made possible the commissioning and deployment of these actions, and the articulations between the actors involved, that fundamentally claim, commemorate and pay tribute to the disappeared and murdered of this locality.
