By recourse to the microcanonical ensemble, we investigate the physics of quantum particles’ systems, with emphasis on quantifiers of order/disorder. We consider all kinds of quantum particles’ numbers N, satisfying the restriction 16 < N ≤ 1024 , instead of just the thermodynamic limit N → 1024, as is customary in text-books. We discuss special features of this kind of systems. Interesting facts are uncovered via both purely thermodynamic and also statistical quantifiers, the LMC-statistical complexity in particular.
