El Partido en su laberinto. La Federación Socialista Tucumana, 1931-1937

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la trayectoria de la Federación Socialista Tucumana en los primeros años de la década del 30. Varios autores se han explayado sobre las vicisitudes del Partido Socialista durante ese período, donde se intensificaron los debates internos en torno al librecambio, la vinculación con el movimiento obrero; el rol del socialismo en el Parlamento, la conformación de alianzas, la reformulación de la táctica y la posición revolucionaria y de clase del partido. Al mismo tiempo, la historiografía también destacó la oportunidad política que brindaba la abstención radical para el incremento de la participación electoral del PS. Nuestro propósito es echar luz sobre esa agitada dinámica en la que estaba sumergido el partido, pero en un contexto local y de esta forma poder visibilizar, a través de una trayectoria partidaria, también las articulaciones y tensiones entre lo regional y lo nacional.

The aim of this paper is to analyze the trajectory of the Federación Socialista Tucumana in the early „30s. Several authors have spoken at about the vicissitudes of the Socialist Party during those years, which intensified the internal debates surrounding the free trade; linkage to the labour movement, the role of socialism in parliament, the formation of alliances; reformulation of the tactic and the class position and revolutionary position of the party. At the same time, historiography also studied the political opportunity that the radical party abstention gave to the PS in order to increase its electoral participation. Our purpose is to put some light on that troubled dynamics in which the party was submerged, but in a local context, and at the same time we aspire to make visible the articulations and tensions between regional and national levels
