La literatura Resplandeciente de Raúl González Tuñón: entre la moral partidaria y la afirmación de la aventura

Abstract

Este trabajo se propone analizar los modos de leer literatura que se ponen en juego en La literatura resplandeciente, de Raúl González Tuñón. Los ensayos y crónicas recopilados en el libro, publicado póstumamente en 1976, recorren los diversos temas sobre los que el autor reflexionó desde sus comienzos literarios. Su lectura parte de la noción de "realismo romántico", una poética que conjuga el valor de la literatura como testimonio con la libertad del escritor, buscando apartarse de la idea de lo político como propaganda. Sin embargo, este concepto se tensiona y se tuerce de modo tal que termina socavando sus propios principios. Los textos literarios y los autores en los que González Tuñón centra su atención permiten visualizar los legados que retoma en su escritura, las genealogías que funda, los valores poéticos y políticos a través de los cuales juzga la literatura y se auto-legitima; pero también los gustos y afectos que viene afirmando desde su juventud vanguardista.

This paper aims to analyze the ways of reading literature that are used in La literatura resplandeciente by Raúl González Tuñón. The essays and chronicles collected in the book, published posthumously in 1976, go through the different topics the author has reflected about since his literary beginnings. His reading begins from the notion of "romantic realism" a poetics that combines the value of literature as testimony to the freedom of the writer, looking to go away from the idea of politics as propaganda. However, this concept is stressed and twisted so that it ends up undermining its own principles. González Tuñón focuses on literary texts and authors that make it possible to visualize the legacies that it takes in his writings, the genealogies based, poetic and political values by which to judge the literature and self-legitimized, but also the tastes and feelings that he has been asserting from his avant-garde youth.
