Formas de la supervivencia: Sobre Promesas naturales de Oliverio Coelho

Abstract

Entre el 2003 y el 2006, Oliverio Coelho publica su trilogía compuesta por Los invertebrables, Borneo y Promesas naturales. La misma pone en juego un final radical que, sin embargo, habilita un después; un después que a la vez que sostiene el corte obliga a preguntarse sobre el final en la lógica de sucesión de las crisis. En el marco de un estudio más amplio sobre los imaginarios para después del final en la narrativa argentina actual y sus potencias críticas y artísticas, el presente trabajo se propone estudiar el modo en que el último avatar de la serie configura dicho imaginario. Se analizará la forma en que este episodio multiplica los espacios y pone en juego la urgencia como tempo preponderante, habilitando la diversificación de los modos de supervivencia y la producción de nuevas formas de relación espacio temporales.

Between 2003 and 2006, Oliverio Coelho publishes his trilogy composed of Los invertebrables, Borneo and Promesas naturales. It proposes a radical ending that, however, enables an “after”; an “after” that at the same time that sustains the cut, forces us to ask about the end in the logic of the succession of crises. Within the framework of a broader study on the imaginaries for after the end of the current Argentine narrative, the present paper aims to analyze the way in which the last avatar of the series configures that imaginary. We’ll analyze the way in which this episode multiplies the spaces and propose urgency as a preeminent tempo, enabling the diversification of survival modes and the production of new time-space relation forms.
