Amalia y el trabajo docente. Memorias de una maestra tucumana

Abstract

Este artículo recupera la narración de la maestra tucumana Amalia Arancibia, acercándose a sus memorias sobre el trabajo docente. El testimonio de Amalia fue requerido en numerosas oportunidades, principalmente para atestiguar sobre el asesinato de sus hermanos en 1976, uno de ellos el más destacado dirigente que tuvo el gremialismo docente en la provincia de Tucumán. En esta oportunidad, a partir de los aportes de los estudios sobre memoria, historia, historia oral y género, se destacan aspectos poco evocados sobre su propia experiencia de trabajo, su autopercepción como maestra y las significaciones sobre la figura de su hermano.

This article recovers the story of Amalia Arancibia, a teacher from Tucumán, by inquiring about her memoirs about teaching work. Amalia's testimony was required on numerous occasions, mainly to testify about the murder of her brothers in 1976, one of whom was the most important leader of the teaching unionismo in Tucumán province. On this occasion, based on the contributions of studies on memory, history, oral history and gender, little evoked aspects about her own work experience, her self-perception as a teacher and the significance of her brother's figure are highlighted.
