Mateneo de Historia, construyendo narrativas contra-hegemónicas de la historia local de Bariloche

Abstract

El "Mateneo de Historia" es un proyecto de extensión de la Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional del Comahue constituido como un ciclo de encuentros para el debate teórico en el campo de las ciencias sociales y humanas. La labor de sus integrantes derivó en el "Mateneo de a pie", una propuesta destinada a generar espacios de taller sobre la historia de San Carlos de Bariloche en distintas instituciones educativas de nivel secundario de dicha ciudad. Las actividades planteadas fueron llevadas adelante en ocho colegios de realidades sociales, barriales e institucionales heterogéneas. En cada experiencia hicimos foco en la importancia de la multiplicidad de voces, destacándose la necesidad del acceso estudiantil a una mirada problematizadora de la realidad local para poder reflexionar sobre la misma. De esta manera, abordamos temáticas tales como la situación histórica de los pueblos originarios en la región, las problemáticas del crecimiento urbano, la última dictadura cívico-militar (1976-1983) y la historia antigua de Bariloche desde sus orígenes como colonia agrícola-pastoril. Muchos establecimientos han introducido la enseñanza de la historia local en sus currículos. Por ello nos resulta importante como universitarias/os sumarnos alintercambio de conocimientos y al desarrollo del pensamiento crítico, contribuyendo no sólo a la formación ciudadana y a la construcción de una sociedad democrática, sino también a tender lazos inter-institucionales con el nivel medio.

“Mateneo de Historia” (History Mateneo) is an outreach project from the Faculty of Humanities of the Universidad Nacional del Comahue, made as a series of meetings to the theoretical discussion in the field of the human and social sciences. The “Mateneo de a pie” (Walking Mateneo) started from the work of the “Mateneo de Historia” members, and it’s a proposal directed to create workshop spaces about the history of San Carlos de Bariloche on different high schools of the same city. This proposal was realized in eight colleges with different social, neighborhood and institutional bachgound. In every experience, the focus was on the multiplicity of voices, highlighting the students’ needs to access a problematized view of the local reality, to reflect on it. Considering this, some of the topics addressed were the historical backgound of the native population, the urban growth and its problems, the influence of the last civic-military dictatorship from 1976 to 1983, and Bariloche’s old history from its beginning as an agricultural-pastoral colony. Many establishments have introduced the local history into their curriculums, so it’s important for us as university students, to the exchange knowledge and to the develop critical thought, contributing not only to the citizen growth and the construction of a democratic society, but also to build inter-institutional ties with the secondary school level. In every workshop, the students managed to track the origin of the proposed topic, understanding the current issues from the historical context of the city, and were even able to reflect on future issues.
