De Polonia a Tucumán: emociones de un exilio en la Segunda Guerra Mundial

Abstract

El artículo propone un examen de las emociones plasmadas en el diario de viaje de una joven mujer judía polaca, quien a través de Japón consiguió escapar de Europa y refugiarse en Tucumán (Argentina), al promediar el año 1941. Para avanzar en esta temática inexplorada por la historiografía provincial para el periodo elegido, el artículo se concentra en las impresiones forjadas durante su trayectoria migratoria, a través del uso de metáforas de la naturaleza, recursos empleados para narrar el dolor, la falta de libertad, el miedo y la tristeza, en un contexto signado por el desarrollo de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y el avance del nazismo.

This article proposes an analysis of the emotions portrayed in the travel diary of a young Polish Jewish woman, who managed to escape from Europe through Japan, and finally landed in Tucumán (Argentina), around the middle of 1941. The aim is to proceed in this topic which is still unexplored by local historiography during this period. The article focuses on the impressions shaped during her migration from the use of metaphors of nature. These devices are used to narrate pain, lack of freedom, fear and sadness in a context distinguished by the development of World War II and the rise of Nazism.
