dc.description.abstract
We analyze recently derived eigenvalues of the Schrödinger equation for a harmonic oscillator in the presence of a spiral dislocation. We show that in the case of confinement those results do not take into account the limit of free oscillator properly. We show a simple alternative expression for the ground state that takes approximately into account the regimes of strong confinement and free oscillator.
