Gamaliel Churata en Argentina: Mapeo de abordajes críticos

Abstract

En el presente trabajo realizamos un recorrido por los abordajes críticos que se hicieron desde Argentina sobre la obra de Gamaliel Churata (ya sea en solitario o en los diferentes grupos que formó). A tal efecto, sistematizamos las propuestas existentes y aquellas que están en proceso de desarrollo; asimismo, revisamos continuidades, discrepancias y puntos de vista, a fin de elaborar el estado de la cuestión de un campo aún en construcción. Por último, proponemos una alternativa crítica basada en el estudio de las redes, con vistas a reconstruir los vínculos estéticoideológicos entre Puno y diferentes puntos geográficos argentinos durante la primera mitad del siglo XX

In the present work we take a tour of the critical approaches made from Argentina to the work of Gamaliel Churata (either alone or in the different groups he formed). To this end, we systematize the existing proposals and those that are in the process of being developed. In addition, we review continuities, discrepancies and points of view, in order to elaborate the state of the question of a field still under construction. Finally, we propose a critical alternative based on the study of networks, with a view to reconstructing the aesthetic-ideological links between Puno and different geographical points in Argentina during the first half of the 20th century.
