La construcción del joven transgresor en el discurso del Estado penal juvenil en Córdoba, Argentina

Abstract

En este artículo, nos interesa indagar en las estrategias de subjetivación empleadas por el discurso profesional, formulado por técnicos psicólogos y trabajadores sociales, que emerge en las prisiones juveniles. La hipótesis de trabajo que formulamos sostiene que este discurso experto procede interpelando al joven que transita el sistema penal a asumir un ethos particular, que podemos nombrar joven transgresor. Finalmente, damos un paso adelante en relación con nuestros estudios recientes, al concluir que el poder de clasificación del joven preso por parte del discurso experto es una más de las variantes del poder de captación del sistema penal juvenil.

Analysis of the subjectivation strategies used by professional discourse, of psycho-logists and social-service workers, that emerges in juvenile detention centres. Our working hypothesis is that this professional discourse, that portrays a young responsible for his punishment, he proceeds by interpellating to young man who transits the penal system to assume a particular ethos, that we may to call young transgressor. Finally, we take a step beyond our previous studies by concluding that the classification power of expert discourse is one of the variants of the capturing power of the youth justice system.
