El devenir femenino juvenil en programas sociales

Abstract

El texto tiene por objetivo mostrar la incidencia de las condiciones en que se inserta la identidad de género o sexual femenina en la producción de subjetividades juveniles enmarcadas en un programa social. Dicho programa se denomina Plan de Inclusión Social y se implementa desde mediados de 2003 y hasta la actualidad en la provincia de San Luis (Argentina). Ello nos permite reparar en el proceso bifronte en el que redundan las sujeciones subjetivas a lo impuesto: las que derivan de representaciones y las que devienen del Estado, ya sea como reproductor de condiciones desiguales o bien por su omisión en la igualación de tales condiciones. El principal argumento del texto gira en torno a considerar que las tareas no remuneradas al interior del hogar asignadas a las mujeres inciden en la producción de subjetividades. Para ello, tendremos en cuenta experiencias femeninas en las que se anudan el modo en que se construye la condición juvenil y de género en el marco del programa. En cuanto a los aspectos metodológicos, se trata de un estudio cualitativo enmarcado en una tesis doctoral en curso, inserta en el Programa Doctoral de la Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (Flacso) Argentina, en donde predominan técnicas de recolección de datos tales como entrevistas en profundidad y observación participante. Los resultados muestran que las tareas de cuidado inciden en la construcción de las subjetividades juveniles femeninas dificultando procesos singulares. Que son dificultosos no supone desconocer que existen subjetivaciones que intentan escapar a las sujeciones al orden social impuesto.

The purpose of the text is to show the incidence of the conditions in which the gender or sexual identity of women is inserted in the production of juvenile subjectivities framed in a social program. The program is called the Plan de Inclusion Social and it has been implemented since the middle of 2003 and until now in the province of San Luis (Argentina). This allows us to notice the two-sided process in which the subjective subjection to the imposed: those that derive from representations and those that come from the State, either as reproducer of unequal conditions or because of their omission in the equalization of such terms. The main argument of the text revolves around considering that unpaid tasks within the home assigned to women affect the production of subjectivities. To do this we will take into account women’s experiences in which the way in which the youth condition and gender are built within the framework of the program are knotted. Regarding the methodological aspects, this is a qualitative study framed in an ongoing doctoral thesis, inserted in the doctoral program of the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales in Argentina, where data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews and participant observation. The results show that home care tasks affect the construction of female youth subjectivities, hindering singular processes. That they are difficult does not imply ignoring the existence of singular subjectifications that try to escape the subjection to the imposed social order.
