Actuar en el territorio: La relación entre la carrera Comunicación Social de la Universidad Nacional de Salta Sede Regional Tartagal y el proyecto de extensión “La Voz del Pueblo Indígena"

Abstract

En el año 2002, al norte de Argentina, la carrera Comunicación Social de Universidad Nacional de Salta Sede Regional Tartagal, presentó el proyecto de extensión universitaria “La Voz del Pueblo Indígena”. Desde ese momento se iniciaron un conjunto de acciones de capacitación fundamentales para la constitución de la primera radio comunitaria de la región: “Radio Comunitaria La Voz Indígena”. A través de este artículo se busca indagar en el proceso de intervención territorial realizado por las cátedras Promoción Cultural Comunitaria, Antropología y Problemática Regional y Taller de Producción Radial y su relación con la formación de un colectivo indígena que lucha por sus derechos.

In 2002, in northern Argentina, the Social Communication program of the National University of Salta, Tartagal Regional Campus, presented the university extension project "The Voice of the Indigenous People". From that moment on, a set of fundamental training activities towards the establishment of the first community radio in the region were launched: Community Radio “The Indigenous Voice” (La Voz Indígena). Through this article we seek to investigate the process of territorial intervention carried out by the Community Cultural Outreach, Anthropology and Regional Issues, and Radio Production Workshop Chairs, and its relationship with the conformation of an indigenous collective that advocates for their rights.
