La inmigración andaluza durante la segunda posguerra mundial a la España chica, Argentina (1949-1962)

Abstract

Argentina ha sido un país históricamente marcado por las migraciones internacionales. Desde su perfil de nación receptora, entre 1882 y 1930 absorbió la mitad del flujo migratorio español con destino hacia Latinoamérica. Convirtiéndose el interior en un espacio disponible de oportunidades a los recién llegados. Una de las regiones cordobesas receptoras fue la zona circundante al ramal de Río Cuarto - Río Tercero. La presencia de una sólida comunidad española con epicentro en la ciudad de Almafuerte motivó a que se bautizara como La España chica. Este flujo migratorio previo entre los años 1910-1925 jugó el rol de facilitador en los requerimientos de la política migratoria argentina vigente durante la en la segunda posguerra, para que una nueva ola de españoles llegara a la localidad, conectando este proceso por medio de una cadena migratoria. En consecuencia, este segundo grupo de españoles migró hacia Argentina entre los años 1949 y 1962. Dicho flujo manifestó una serie de características propias reconstruida a partir de entrevistas, pasaportes, boletos de viaje, epístolas y registros fotográficos privados; complementados con notas periodísticas y documentos oficiales localizados en el Archivo Municipal de Río Cuarto y el Archivo General de la Nación. En consecuencia, estos andaluces compartieron el lugar de procedencia y destino; además, que la cadena migratoria y los lazos de solidaridad que lograron construir vinculó estrechamente ambas olas migratorias. Mientras que, los lazos parentales y/o amicales proporcionaron a los inmigrantes un ámbito de contención para instalarse y acceder al mercado laboral en su nuevo lugar de residencia.

Consequently, these Andalusians shared the place of origin and destination; Furthermore, that the migratory chain and the solidarity ties that they managed to build closely linked both migratory waves. Whereas, parental and / or friend ties provided immigrants with an environment of containment to settle and access the labor market in their new place of residence.
