La construcción de la variedad lingüística gauchesca en el Río de la Plata

Abstract

Se examina la relación entre la gauchesca, el soporte lingüístico de que se valió y su intencionalidad, tal como se manifestó en las producciones liminares del periodo inmediatamente anterior y posterior a la Revolución de Mayo, cuando su carácter dis¬ruptivo se torna más evidente. Se analizan las transformaciones sufridas por el modelo literario y lingüístico hispánicos desde la perspectiva de una «difracción» operada a través del prisma de la ideología de la emancipación.

The article examines the relationship between the so called «Gaucho» literature, the dialect upon which it was based and the intention that guided the authors, taking in consideration the first literary works written immediately before and after the Mayo Revolution (1910). It analyzes how the Spanish literary and linguistic patterns underwent a diffraction and adapted to the ideology of freedom and emancipation which ruled in the just liberated Colony.
