El viento en el mundo de Aníbal Ponce: De liberal Sarmientino a marxista revolucionario

Abstract

En el presente artículo, nos proponemos analizar el pensamiento y la acción de unos de los intelectuales marxistas mas importantes de comienzos del siglo XX, el argentino Aníbal Ponce. Particularmente, nos focalizaremos en uno de sus libros titulado “El viento en el mundo”, que constituye una recopilación de seis conferencias que pronunció entre los años 1928 y 1933, invitado por organizaciones sociales, gremiales y/o políticas.Nos interesa el estudio de esta obra, porque en ella se puede observar la transformación de Ponce de liberal sarmientino a marxista revolucionario, tanto a nivel de sus reflexiones como de su práctica política. Ponce no nació marxista, sino que llegó a serlo, y a constituirse en el intelectual más importante del Partido Comunista Argentino, durante los años 30. Nos proponemos con este escrito, recuperar y socializar su pensamiento revolucionario porque, si bien pensó, escribió y actuó, en otro momento histórico, sus ideas aun siguen vigentes y constituyen un arma desde la cual seguir dando la batalla por la revolución, que se nos presenta tan urgente como necesaria.

In the present article, we propose to analyze the thought and the action of one of the most important Marxist intellectuals of the early twentieth century, the Argentine Aníbal Ponce. In particular, we will focus on one of his books entitled "The wind in the world", which is a compilation of six conferences that he delivered between 1928 and 1933, invited by social, professional and/or political organizations. We are interested in the study of this work, because in it we can observe the transformation of Ponce from liberal Sarmientino to revolutionary Marxist, both at the level of his reflections and his political practice. Ponce was not born a Marxist, but became one, and he was established the most important intellectual of the Argentine Communist Party, during the 1930s. We propose with this writing, to recover and socialize his revolutionary thought because, although he thought, wrote and acted, in another historical moment, his ideas are still valid and constitute a weapon from which to continue giving the battle for the revolution, that it presents as urgent as necessary
