Checklist of Benthic Cnidaria in the SW Atlantic Ocean (54ºS - 56ºS)

In this study we provide a complete inventory of benthic cnidarians recorded between 54 and 56°S in the SW Atlantic Ocean, with emphasis on the MPAs Namuncurá I and II, based on recent samplings and bibliographic data. We also provide information regarding distribution patterns, richness and common associated species. Data contained in this research were also employed to highlight the conservation value of the area in a previous instance to the creation of the MPA Namuncurá II (FCMP 2018).
