Entonces, ¿qué es un dispositivo? De la matriz colonial de poder a los dispositivos (pedagógicos) contemporáneos

Abstract

El deseo que aloja este ensayo intenta indagar la noción de dispositivo, a propósito de su configuración moderna/colonial y que también ataña de diversos modos a la de la razón evaluadora. Como dicha noción pareciera no haber tenido mayor alcance genealógico que la modernidad de Hegel o Schiller, aquí plantearemos una búsqueda que permita no solo identificar las principales características de esta noción abordada por diferentes autores contemporáneos, sino ver cierto alcance arqueológico que involucre una mirada geopolítica del conocimiento. Esto permitirá observar cómo lo que se entiende por dispositivo y, más aun, cómo la proliferación de diferentes dispositivos (pedagógicos) contemporáneos, se enlaza al surgimiento, la configuración y consolidación de la matriz colonial del poder siempre en relación con un tipo de racionalidad predominantemente evaluadora.

The desire that hosts this essay tries to investigate the notion of device, with regard to its modern/colonial configuration and that also affects the evaluative reason in different ways. As this notion does not seem to have a greater genealogical scope than the modernity of Hegel or Schiller, here we propose a search that allows not only to identify the main characteristics of this notion addressed by different contemporary authors, but also to see a certain archaeological scope that implies a geopolitical look of knowledge. This will allow us to observe how a device is understood and, in addition, how the proliferation of different contemporary (pedagogical) devices is linked to the emergence, configuration and consolidation of the colonial matrix of power, always in relation to a predominantly evaluative rationality.
