Sociedades otras: una aproximación a la iniciativa zapatista desde el territorio

Abstract

El objetivo del presente escrito tiene como desafío entender y reflexionar “la gramática de la dignidad” de los pueblos. Procuramos repensar el zapatismo como iniciativa que conlleva a reflexionar la posibilidad de construir “sociedades otras”. No pretendemos abordar dicho proceso para teorizarlo, sino dar cuenta de la potencia social de una realidad no acabada. Para lo cual proponemos aproximarnos a este proceso retomando la perspectiva de territorio, territorialización y territorialidad desde la geografía crítica. Planteamos la necesidad de repensar la recuperación, reconfiguración y resignificación territorial de los pueblos zapatistas que recrea “territorialidades de resistencia” a partir de prácticas sociales de lo que dichos pueblos conciben como la libertad, la justicia social y democracia radical. Se busca hacer visibles aquellas relaciones sociales que permiten reconstruir nuevas subjetividades, en tanto, ensayan otra forma de hacer política, que se aparta del régimen políticoeconómico de dominación. Lo que permitirá entender al zapatismo como una iniciativa de sociedades nacientes y, por tanto, como un horizonte abierto de posibilidades hacia el futuro de otras sociedades por construir.

The purpose of this letter is to challenge understand and reflect “the grammar of the dignity” of peoples. We try to rethink the Zapatistas as an initiative leading to ponder the possibility of building “other companies”. Do not try to approach this process to theorize, but to account for the social power of a reality not finished. To which we could approach this process retaking territory perspective, territory and territorial from critical geography. We suggest the need to rethink the recovery, reconfiguration and territorial redefinition of the Zapatista communities that recreates “territorialities resistance” from social practices which these peoples conceived as freedom, social justice and radical democracy. It seeks to do those social relations that allow to reconstruct new subjectivities visible, meanwhile, tested another way of doing politics, which deviates from the political-economic system of domination. Allowing understand the Zapatistas as an initiative of nascent societies and, therefore, as a wide open ahead of other companies to build horizon.
