Intencionalidades, conflictos y resistencias: análisis cualitativo de un proyecto de desarrollo rural en Córdoba, Argentina

Abstract

En este artículo se expone el análisis sobre la polisemia del concepto “desarrollo” aplicado a la problemática de unidades domésticas campesinas ubicadas en el noroeste de la provincia de Córdoba (Argentina), en el contexto de avance de la frontera agropecuaria en la región. Primero, se definen las características básicas de las comunidades rurales que habitan el territorio abarcado por la investigación. Luego, desde la perspectiva de la antropología social y la sociología rural latinoamericana, se pone la atención en un proyecto impulsado por organismos del Estado nacional que se presenta como un caso testigo del denominado desarrollo local y sus consecuencias en la dinámica de las comunidades indagadas. Finalmente, se revisan los factores que inhiben fuertemente el desarrollo técnico avanzado del sector doméstico y, por tanto, se establece si existe una relación entre el accionar del Estado y las dinámicas de estas comunidades rurales que permita explicar la reproducción social en el territorio.

This article analyses the polysemic concept of development applied to the problematic on the rural households in the northwest of Cordoba province (Argentina), in the context of advance of the agricultural-livestock border in the region. First, the basic characteristics of the rural communities that inhabit the territory covered by the research will be defined. Then, from the social anthropology and the rural Latin American sociology perspective, attention is drawn to a project promoted by national government agencies that is presented as a witness case of the so called local development and its consequences on the dynamics of the communities investigated. Finally, the article breaks down the factors that strongly inhibit the technical advanced development of the domestic sector. It also tries to determine the relation between the action of the State and the experiences of these rural communities that explain the social reproduction in the territory.
