Proceso de construcción territorial del barrio Flores Oeste

Abstract

El trabajo busca conocer los orígenes del proceso histórico de construcción territorial del asentamiento "Barrio Flores Oeste", ubicado en el piedemonte de la ciudad de Mendoza, a partir de entrevistas, sistematización y análisis de documentación, de fuentes primarias y secundarias, para describir y analizar cómo el Estado, desde la construcción de un orden dominante construye desigualdades territoriales en la ciudad incluyendo a unos y excluyendo a otros. En este caso, a partir de la puesta en marcha de la obra del Campus universitario comienza el conflicto por el desalojo del Barrio y el paso a la visibilización de "los invisibilizados del oeste". La particularidad del mismo reside en la extensa temporalidad de la ocupación/apropiación del territorio y las múltiples reconfiguraciones espaciales y resistencias territoriales, teniendo en cuenta su condición de "excluidos". La perspectiva teórica de (producción del espacio) de Henri Lefebvre, el (derecho a la ciudad) de David Harvey y (justicia espacial) de Edward Soja nos ayudan a develar el reparto inequitativo de los recursos en el espacio que producen tensiones entre el Estado, el mercado y los pobladores produciendo (in) justicias espaciales.

The work seeks to know the origins of the historical process of territorial construction of the settlement "Barrio Flores Oeste", located in the foothills of the city of Mendoza, from interviews, systematization and documentation analysis of primary and secondary sources, to describe and analyze how the State, from the construction of a dominant order, constructs territorial inequalities in the city including some and excluding others. In this case, from the start-up of the work of the University Campus begins the conflict for the eviction of the neighborhood and the step to the visibility of "the invisibilized of the West." The peculiarity of the same resides in the extensive temporality of the occupation / appropriation of the territory and the multiple spatial reconfigurations and territorial resistances, taking into account their condition of "excluded". The theoretical perspective of "production of space" by Henri Lefebvre, the "right to the city" of David Harvey and "space justice" of Edward Soja help us unveil the inequitable distribution of resources in space that produce tensions between the State , the market and the inhabitants producing (in) space justice.
