El arte y la guerra: La movilización cultural y artística en torno del Fondo Patriótico Malvinas Argentinas en la ciudad de Córdoba

Abstract

Desde mediados del mes de abril y con mayor intensidad en el devenir de mayo, se se advierten una cantidad importante de adhesiones y manifestaciones de apoyo por la recuperación de la soberanía de las Islas Malvinas. Diversos de eventos se plegaron a la causa, recolectando dinero y bienes para donarlos al Fondo Patriótico Malvinas Argentinas o entregarlos al Tercer Cuerpo de Ejército. En las siguientes líneas se propone revisar y reflexionar sobre un conjunto de eventos artísticos y culturales que suscitó el conflicto bélico en la ciudad de Córdoba. Nuestra hipótesis considera que desde distintos espacios se multiplicaron acciones que aunque tenían como destino la colecta, contribuyeron a reconstruir lazos sociales resquebrajados bajo el control del gobierno dictatorial. La iniciativa de juntar fondos para los soldados impulsó a diversas instituciones artísticas, culturales y sociales y congregó a diferentes estratos de la comunidad cordobesa. En ese sentido, se analiza otra arista respecto de los estudios sobre Malvinas, ligada a la esfera civil, indagando en ese sentido acerca de quiénes fueron los organizadores, las actividades que llevaron a cabo y los diferentes significados que se articularon en torno de estas acciones artístico - culturales durante los días que duró la guerra.

Since mid-April to May a mass of adhesions and demonstrations were display to support the “recovery” of national sovereignty over the Malvinas Islands. A variety of events were folded to the "cause", collecting money and other goods to donate them to Patriotic Fund Malvinas Argentinas or deliver to the Third Army Corps. In those moments, solidary accompaniment to soldiers was the objective why society was mobilized. In the following lines we proposed to review and analyze social and cultural actions that emerged around war in the city of Córdoba. A first hypothesis considers that from different spaces, actions were multiplied. Although it had fundraising destiny, they contributed to reconstruct social networks that had been eliminated, sabotaged or controlled by the dictatorial government. The initiative to raise funds for the soldiers promoted various artistic, cultural and social institutions and brought together together people from different social background. We focus on the civil sphere, inquiring about the organizers, the activities and the different meanings that were articulated around these artistic - cultural actions during the days that the conflict lasted.
