Apego y percepción de felicidad en la mediana infancia: una aproximación a su estudio

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue examinar la relación entre la percepción de apego y felicidad en niños/as de entre 7 y 8 años de edad concurrentes a escuelas primarias, estatales. Para evaluar el apego se utilizó el Cuestionario Kerns Security Scale (KSS) de Kerns, Klepac y Cole, 1996 (adaptación argentina Richaud de Minzi, Sacchi y Moreno, 2001) y se recurrió a la Escala analógica-visual de alegría/felicidad (Oros, 2008) para evaluar la felicidad. Se realizó un análisis univariado de varianza (ANOVA).Se obtuvieron resultados significativos F Hotelling (2, 104) = 3,14; p = .04. Los niños/as que obtuvieron un mayor grado de apego presentaron altos puntajes de felicidad. Dichos resultados orientan a programas que prioricen un desarrollo saludable y funcional en la infancia.

The objective of this research was to examine the relation between the attachment perception and happiness in children between ages 7 and 8, who attend public schools. To evaluate the attachment perception, it was used the Kerns Security Scale Questionnaire (KSS) by Kerns, Keplac and Cole, 1996 (Argentinian adaptation by Richaud de Minzi, Sacchi and Moreno, 2001); and to evaluate happiness, it was used the analogical visual scale of joy/happiness (Oros, 2008). A univariate variable analysis was carried out (ANOVA). Significant results were obtained F Hotelling (2.104) = 3.14; p = .04. Children who got a high secure attachment presented high happiness percentages. These scientific contributions lead to mental health promotion programs for children that give priority to their healthy and functional development.
