Jesús en las narrativas judías del primer milenio

Abstract

En este trabajo se presentan y analizan las más significativas menciones directas a Jesús en la literatura judía de la Antigüedad Tardía. El estudio recae no solo en los textos rabínicos –principalmente en sus principales corpora– sino también en la siempre difícil de encuadrar narrativa Toldot Yeshu. A partir de tal análisis se revisan las motivaciones que llevaron a los judíos tardoantiguos –rabínicos y no rabínicos– a constituir diversas imágenes negativas sobre Jesús (y María) en los textos del período.

The aim of this paper will be the analysis of a number of direct mentions to Jesus´ figure, in particular those considered the most significant founded in the Jewish literature of Late Antiquity: the rabbinical texts – mainly in the main corpora – and the Toldot Yeshu narrative, being the latter a difficult text to categorize. Pondering these material, the object will be to re-examine the motivations that led lateancient Jews – rabbinic and non-rabbinic – to develop negative images about Jesus (and Mary) in the texts of the period.
