Deleuze y la filosofía de la naturaleza

Abstract

En el presente trabajo intentaremos mostrar que la filosofía deleuziana puede concebirse como una filosofía de la naturaleza. Pero en la medida en que, en tanto disciplina filosófica, esta corriente parece haber sido condenada al olvido, sobreviviendo solamente como una curiosidad anacrónica, nuestra hipótesis de trabajo implicará proveer una definición aproximativa de lo que se podría considerar, actualmente, como filosofía de la naturaleza. Intentaremos entonces encontrar una serie de criterios o condiciones que permitan definir esta corriente filosófica general, para a continuación poner a prueba estos criterios en la obra de Deleuze. Nuestro recorrido se desarrollará en tres etapas: en un primer momento, haremos una lectura de Schelling con el objetivo de extraer, de su filosofía de la naturaleza, ciertos rasgos genéricos que nos permitan definir esta corriente; posteriormente, pondremos a prueba esos criterios haciendo una lectura, muy esquemática, de Diferencia y repetición; por último, intentaremos mostrar la relevancia de la filosofía de la naturaleza en la escena filosófica contemporánea, poniéndola a dialogar con otras tendencias con las que actualmente se encuentra emparentada.

In the present paper we will try to show that the deleuzian philosophy can be conceived as a philosophy of nature. But, insofar as this philosophic discipline seems to be condemned to oblivion, surviving only as an anachronistic curiosity, our hypothesis will require us to provide an approximate definition of what may be considered, nowadays, as a philosophy of nature. We will then try to find a series of criteria that may define this philosophical discipline, in order to test if they can be also found in the deleuzian thought. Our exposition will be developed in the following manner: first, we will do a reading of Schelling, in order to extract from his philosophy of nature certain generic features that may help us define this current; then we will test these criteria in Deleuze’s philosophy by doinga very schematic reading of Difference and repetition; finally, we will try to show the relevance of the philosophy of nature in the contemporary philosophical scene, by establishing a dialogue between it and other philosophical variants grouped under the general current of the speculative realism.
