Sujeto, ideología y política entre Althusser y Badiou

Abstract

El presente trabajo se propone abordar el problema de la relación entre ideología y sujeto en Louis Althusser y Alain Badiou, o más precisamente, la diferencia entre uno y otro a propósito de sus respectivas concepciones del sujeto. Por un lado, se intenta extraer y desarrollar el planteo de Badiou a partir del modo en el que lee la relación entre sujeto e ideología en Althusser, y por otro lado, delimitar la posición althusseriana respecto de la operación de lectura badiouana. Frente a la lectura de Badiou que hace de la ideología una dimensión monolítica y unívoca cuyos efectos se agotan en la reproducción social, la lectura que aquí proponemos reivindica la presencia de la lucha de clases en el seno de la instancia ideológica de la sociedad y da lugar, así, a la producción de un efecto de sujeto que puede sustraerse de los mandatos de la reproducción.

The present work aims to address the problem of the relationship between ideology and subject in Louis Althusser and Alain Badiou, or more precisely, the difference between one and the other with regard to their respective conceptions of the subject. On the one hand, we try to extract and develop Badiou's approach based on the way in which he reads the relation between subject and ideology in Althusser, and on the other hand, to delimit the althusserian position with respect to the Badiou’s reading operation. Faced with the reading of Badiou that makes ideology a monolithic and univocal dimension whose effects are exhausted in social reproduction, the reading that we propose here claims the presence of the class struggle within the ideological instance of society and gives place, thus, the production of a subject effect that can escape from the mandates of reproduction.
