Formaciones y estrategias discursivas, y su dinámica en la construcción de la hegemonía. Propuesta metodológica con una aplicación a las disputas

Abstract

En la primera parte del artículo, se formulan una serie de precisiones y recortes de los alcances de los conceptos de “formación discursiva” y de “estrategias discursivas”, con el objetivo de tornarlos más operativos para su empleo sistemático. Además, se analiza su utilidad para investigar las disputas por la hegemonía, encontrándose relaciones entre las formaciones discursivas y el plano de lo ontológico de la hegemonía, y de las estrategias con el de lo óntico-valorativo. Finalmente, se incorporan en el estudio de los dos tipos de articulaciones (diferenciales o equivalenciales) que pueden desarrollarse para construir la hegemonía. En la segunda parte del artículo, se ejemplifica esta propuesta con los resultados de un estudio previo acerca de las disputas en torno a la cuestión agraria en la Argentina de las décadas de veinte, treinta y comienzos de la del cuarenta.

In the first part of the article, a number of clarifications and reductions of the scope of the concepts of “discursive formation” and “discursive strategies” are formulated, in order to turn them more operative and precise for a systematic use. The usefulness of these concepts to research the disputes around hegemony is also analyzed, finding relationships between the discursive formations and the ontological level of hegemony, and between the strategies and the ontic-valorative level. Also, the connections between these concepts and two types of articulations (differential or equivalential) that take part in the construction of hegemony are explored. In the second part of the article, this proposal is exemplified with the results of a previous study about the disputes around the agrarian question in the Argentina of the twenties, the thirties and the beginnings of the forties.
