El objetivo principal del presente trabajo consiste en introducir algunas cuestiones relevantes en torno a la discusión sobre el patentamiento de genes humanos a partir del análisis del Caso Association for Molecular Pathology et al v. Myriad Genetics Inc. et al en Estados Unidos. Nos proponemos subrayar las nociones centrales que se postulan en esta sentencia de la Corte Suprema del año 2013. The main objective of the present work is to introduce some relevant questions around the discussion on the patenting of human genes based on the analysis of the Association for Molecular Pathology et al v. Myriad Genetics Inc. et al in the United States. We propose to underline the central notions that are postulated in this judgment of the Supreme Court of 2013.
