Fitoplancton en el río Gastona (Tucumán, Argentina): Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Euglenophyta y Rhodophyta)

Abstract

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a composição da ficoflora do rio Gastona (Tucumán, Argentina) pertecente às divisões Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Euglenophyta e Rhodophyta, nos anos 1994, 1998 e 1999. Foram selecionados cinco estações ao longo do rio, situadas à montante e à jusante da área de descarga dos efluentes de um engenho açucareiro e de esgotos. Registraram-se um total de 78 táxons, sendo que Chlorophyta esteve representada por um número maior de táxons, seguida de Cyanophyta e Euglenophyta. Menciona-se pela primeira vez para o Noroeste Argentino nove espécies, três variedades e uma forma. Para Tucumán, além desses mencionados previamente, foram reconhecidos sete espécies, duas variedades e uma forma taxonômica.

The aim of the present paper was to evaluate the phycoflora composition of the Gastona River (Tucumán, Argentina) which belongs to Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Euglenophyta and Rhodophyta divisions. Five places of samplings were selected along the river ubicated upstream and downstream of the discharge zone of a sugarcane industry and sewage effluents in 1994, 1998 and 1999. A total of 78 taxa, was registered in which Chlorophyta were the best represented group while Cyanophyta and Euglenophyta occupied second and third places respectively. Nine species, three varieties and a form are reported for the first time in the Northwest of Argentina. In Tucumán seven species, two varieties and a taxonomic form were also recognized for the first time
