Las disputas entre Corrientes y la Nación por el territorio de Misiones durante el período 1865-1881

Abstract

Durante el período comprendido entre la finalización de la Guerra de la Triple Alianza y la organización de los Territorios Nacionales Argentinos, se desarrolló una interesante disputa jurisdiccional entre la provincia de Corrientes y el gobierno nacional por el territorio que antiguamente habían ocupado los pueblos jesuíticos. Las acciones y alegatos que utilizó cada parte para reafirmar sus derechos sobre este espacio, así como la definición de esta cuestión en el año 1881, constituyen los temas principales del presente artículo.

During the period between the end of the Triple Alliance War and the organization of the Argentine National Territories, an interesting jurisdictional dispute developed between the province of Corrientes and the national government over the territory formerly occupied by the Jesuit peoples. The actions and allegations that each party used to reaffirm their rights on this space, as well as the definition of this issue in 1881, constitute the main themes of this article.
