La gramática castellana en los programas de los colegios nacionales argentinos (1881-1936)

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present a map of the school grammar in Argentina with a focus on its links with the educative legislation in this country in the period between 1881, when it begins the process of centralization of the national education, and 1936, when it takes place the first decisive curricula reform in which the Instituto de Filología participates under the direction of Amado Alonso. In that sense, we hold that the period between these years shows the consolidation of the grammatical tradition based on the positivist school model that will remain in effect until the reform of 1936.
