Espacialidad y religiosidad. Encuentros y desencuentros teórico-metodológicos

Abstract

Recién en las últimas dos décadas del siglo pasado, e impulsado por las transformaciones que experimentaron las ciencias sociales al refrescar sus miradas, lo religioso comenzó a ser un tópico cada vez más frecuente en las investigaciones de orden geográfico.El artículo se propone centrar la mirada en tres cuestiones principales que si bien van de la mano, dan cuenta de las especificidades con las que se fue construyendo el vínculo entre religión y espacio. Por un lado, el devenir de los estudios geográficos de la religiosidad; por otro lado, los aporte teóricos que ayudaron a interpretar las formas en las que se van construyendo y reconstruyendo los paisajes religiosos y, finalmente, mencionar algunos aportes metodológicos que si bien cruzan a varias disciplinas (especialmente la sociología y la antropología) son viables de adaptación para un análisis espacial de la dimensión religiosa.

The article proposes to focus on three subjects, that although they go together, account for the specificities in which the relation between space and religion was built on. On the one hand, the development of geographical studies of religiosity; On the other hand, the theoretical input that helped interpret the ways in which the religious landscape are building and rebuilding; And finally, mentioning some methodological contributions that while belonging various disciplines (especially sociology and anthropology) are viable to adapt to a spatial analysis of the religious dimension.
