Abstract

The brown brocket deer is the biggame more hunt in the province ofTucumán (Argentinean Northwest). Theover hunt, generates annual changes inthe more frequented hunt areas, asconsequence of the exhaustion of thepopulations. There are not control of thefurtive hunt. The brocket deer huntaffects females mainly, being this one ofthe so many hunters behaviors of thatshould be modified to carry out a viablemanagement. There are many newgame ranchs with brocket deer in theregion, but without any State control.
