Área de influencia geográfica del Centro de Atención Primaria de la Salud Bartolomé Giacomotti, Concepción del Uruguay, Entre Ríos

Abstract

El artículo realiza un análisis espacial de la cobertura del Centro de Atención Primaria de la Salud (CAPS) con el objetivo de analizar la accesibilidad al CAPS y conocer el alcance territorial del centro de salud, evaluar si los usuarios pertenecen a su área programática y analizar si las localizaciones de los usuarios son próximas a otros centros de salud. Se realizó una geocodificación en un Sistema de Información Geográfica (SIG) a partir de los registros de las atenciones del centro en cuestión. Se georreferenció el área programática y también se generó un buffer de mil metros alrededor del mismo. Se calculó la cantidad de usuarios dentro de cada área y se concluyó que, alrededor del 40% de los usuarios se movilizan desde lugares no cercanos al CAPS y próximos a otros Centros de Salud, sugiriendo un proceso de elección por fuera del de la cercanía.

The article makes a coverage spatial analysis of the Bartholomé Giacomotti Primary Health Centre Care with the aim of analyzing the accessibility to the Center and knows the territorial reach of the named center. It also evaluates if users belong to the program area and analyze if this locations are close to other health centers. This geocoding was performed in a Geographic Information System (GIS) from the records of the care center in question. A georreferenced of the program area and a thousand meters buffer from the Health Center was done. The number of users was calculated within each area and it was concluded that about 40% of users are mobilized from far of the center and close to other health centers locations, suggesting a process of choice outside of the proximity.
