Violencia y conflicto en las escuelas: delimitaciones conceptuales y causales de un campo en construcción

Abstract

En este trabajo pretendemosrecuperar algunas de las discusionesque han atravesado el campode estudio de la violencia y laconflictividad en las escuelas, ligadasde las delimitaciones conceptualesy causales de este fenómeno. Estasprecisiones son condición necesaria,aunque no suficiente, para el diseñode políticas efectivas que pretendanabordar esta problemática. En elprimer apartado nos proponemosabordarla cuestión de la definiciónde la violencia y el conflicto en lasescuelas; en un segundo apartadodesarrollaremos las causalidades quehan sido atribuidas al fenómeno, yen el último, buscaremos retomarlos resultados de las investigacionessobre la temática, para ponderarlas relaciones especificas entre lasdistintas formas de violencia yconflicto, y sus posibles causas.

In this work we try to recover some of the discussions that have gone through the field of study of violence and conflict in schools, linked to causal and conceptual delimitations of this phenomenon. These precisions are necessary but not sufficient to design effective policies that intend to address this problem. In the first section we intend to address, according to recent research on the issue, the question of the definition of violence and conflict in schools; in the second section will develop causalities that have been attributed to this phenomenon, and in a last, seek to return the results of the research on the topic, to weight the specific relationships between various forms of violence and conflict, and possible causes.
