El señor, la élite aldeana y el común de los pecheros en un conflicto social. Bonilla de la Sierra en torno a 1500

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el conflicto entre el obispo de Ávila y la villa de Bonilla de la Sierra en torno al 1500. Realizaremos primero una presentación general de los agravios señoriales que dan origen a la disputa. Luego veremos algunos antecedentes que permiten comprender la situación, como así también las divisiones que se producen en el seno de la élite local. Por último, realizaremos un análisis de las distintas etapas que atraviesa el conflicto, para evaluar específicamente la actuación de las distintas fuerzas sociales en la evolución de la coyuntura.

The aim of this paper is to analyze the conflict between the bishop of Avila and the town of Bonilla de la Sierra around 1500. First, we will make a general presentation of the seigniorial grievances that give rise to the dispute. Then we will see some antecedents that allow to understand the situation, as well as the divisions that take place in the local elite. Finally, we will analyze the different stages that the conflict is going through, in order to balance the performance of the various social forces in the evolution of the situation.
