Trabajo, vivienda e infraestructura comunitaria en tiempos de pandemia: Santiago del Estero, Argentina

Abstract

En el presente trabajo buscamos caracterizar las condiciones sociolaborales, de vivienda e infraestructura comunitaria de poblaciones vulneradas de Santiago del Estero, Argentina, durante el Aislamiento Social, Preventivo y Obligatorio. Se exponen resultados de un relevamiento realizado en el mes de agosto de 2020 mediante entrevistas online a referentes territoriales, poniendo especial atención en las formas en que el aislamiento afecta a actividades laborales e ingresos y las estrategias alternativas desplegadas y a las dimensiones referidas a las viviendas, los servicios y la infraestructura comunitaria de los barrios de residencia. El muestreo realizado es no probabilístico de tipo intencional. A través del trabajo, se puede observar la necesidad de replantear la implementación de las políticas públicas para la generación de trabajo digno, así como también de control del uso y acceso al suelo y a la vivienda, respetando los modos de vida y de habitar de nuestras poblaciones.

In this paper we will characterize the socio-labor, housing and community infrastructure conditions of vulnerable populations in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, under Social, Preventive and Compulsory Isolation. The results of a survey carried out in August 2020 by means of online interviews to territorial referents are presented, paying special attention to the ways in which isolation affects labor activities and income and the alternative strategies deployed and the dimensions referred to housing, services and community infrastructure of the neighborhoods of residence. The sampling carried out is nonprobabilistic and intentional. Through the work, it is possible to observe the need to rethink the implementation of public policies for the generation of decent work, as well as to control the use of and access to land and housing, respecting the ways of life and habitation of our populations.
