Lenin y el debate sobre el poder y el Estado

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza críticamente, explora y reconstruye la polémica en torno a la discusión si existe o no una teoría marxista del poder y del Estado en el marxismo, en general, y en particular, en la obra de Vladimir Ilich Lenin. Para ello no sólo se desarrolla una hermenéutica que recorre las principales tesis propuestas en la obra El Estado y la revolución del pensador bolchevique sino que además se sitúa históricamente y se contextúa en términos político-ideológicos la impugnación que niega la existencia de dicha teoría o la reduce meramente a una visión simplista y cosificadora del poder. Dentro de ese recorrido el autor focaliza su análisis en la rendición teórica, marcada en forma indeleble (aunque muchas veces de modo inconfesado) por el clima cultural del eurocomunismo, que condujo a Louis Althusser a inclinarse ante las impugnaciones del profesor Norberto Bobbio y el social liberalismo. Rendición teórica inicial que abrió la puerta a todo un amplio abanico de cuestionamientos académicos contra la tradición marxista, originariamente social-liberales, aunque revestidos, algunos años después, con ropajes posmodernos, “posmarxistas” o incluso bajo apariencia “libertaria”.

This paper critically analyzes, explores and reconstructs the controversy surrounding the discussion whether or not there is a Marxist theory of power and state in Marxism in general and in particular in the work of Vladimir Ilich Lenin. This not only develops a hermeneutic that runs through the main theses proposed in the work The State and the revolution of the Bolshevik thinker but also is situated historically and is contextualized in political-ideological terms the challenge that denies the existence of such theory or it merely reduces to a simplistic view of power. In this way, the author focuses his analysis on the theoretical surrender, marked indelibly (although often in an unconfessed manner) by the cultural climate of Eurocommunism, which led Louis Althusser to bow to the challenges of Professor Norberto Bobbio and the social liberalism. Initial theoretical surmise that opened the door to a wide range of academic questioning against the Marxist tradition, originally social-liberal, although some years later they were dressed in postmodern clothes, "posmarxist" or even "libertarian" appearance.
