La poesía como festival

Abstract

En el presente trabajo abordo dos problemas que dan cuenta de los modos en que la poesía argentina contemporánea sobrevive en el presente y genera mutaciones en su práctica. Por un lado, me ocupo del fenómeno de la festivalización de la cultura argentina y de modo singular de la proliferación de los festivales de poesía. En este caso, abordo los festivales internacionales de poesía (FIP) así como de los festivales de poesía joven o emergente, analizando las diferencias entre ellos y su singularidad en una cultura de consumo. Por otro lado, me ocupo de la emergencia de una poesía como festival, orientada no simplemente desde y a la escritura si no a múltiples relaciones con su puesta en voz y performatividad. La hipótesis que sostengo es que se trata de una poesía escrita no solo para el formato libro, sino para intervenir en diferentes soportes y medios, si bien el libro sigue ocupando un lugar central. La festivalización y la poesía como festival no son pensados como términos de una determinación, sino antes como una coexistencia de procesos que se retroalimentan y, a veces, se exceden.

In this paper, I address two issues that show the way in which contemporary argentinean poetry survives in the present and generates mutations in its practice. On one hand, I take care of the festivalization phenomenon of Argentinean culture and in particular, of the proliferation of international Poetry Festivals (IPF), as well as the young or emergent poetry festivals. Analyzing the difference between them and their singularity in a culture of consume. On the other hand, I take care of the emerging of poetry as a festival, oriented not just from and to writing, but to multiple relationships with the voicing and “performativity”. The hypothesis I sustain is that there is a written poetry, not just for a book format; but to intervening in different supports and media, although the book still occupies the central place. The festivalization and poetry as a festival, are not conceived as terms of a determination, but rather a coexistence of process that feedback each other and, sometimes they exceed.
