Visión de los sujetos acerca del vínculo Producción y Ambiente: Reflexiones a partir de experiencias en la Comunidad Gramajo (Barda Negra, Neuquén, Patagonia Argentina)

Abstract

El artículo aborda la mirada que sobre el ambiente en general y, las plantas y vegetación nativa en particular tienen los integrantes de la Comunidad Gramajo, que residen en un ambiente árido de la Patagonia Argentina. El vínculo ancestral que mantienen con la tierra está seriamente afectado por el agudo proceso de desertificación que impacta el área en que habitan y producen. Se recupera el uso histórico y actual de plantas con fines medicinales en la voz de los propios habitantes como así también la visión que tienen acerca de qué pudo haber ocurrido para llegar a la frágil y precaria situación ambiental y social de la actualidad. Para trazar este panorama socio-histórico se trabaja con dos tipos de fuentes, por un lado, secundarias, donde se revisan resultados de investigación acerca de la desertificación a nivel internacional y local y, por otro lado, se recurre al registro de la voz de los propios miembros de la comunidad, para lo cual intercalamos párrafos de las entrevistas realizadas con pobladores del área observada. Por último, se reflexiona sobre los hallazgos realizados y la importancia de considerar y comprender a los sujetos que habitan un lugar determinado al momento de intervenir, diagnosticar y proponer planes de mejora.

The article addresses the view that on the environment in general and plants and native vegetation in particular have the members of the Gramajo Community, that reside in an arid environment of the Patagonia Argentina. The ancestral link that they maintain with the earth is seriously affected by the sharp process of desertification that impacts the area in which they inhabit and produce. The historical and current use of plants for medicinal purposes is recovered in the voice of the inhabitants themselves as well as the vision they have about what might have happened to reach the fragile and precarious environmental and social situation of the present. To trace this sociohistorical panorama we worked with two types of sources. On the one hand, secondary, where research results on desertification are reviewed at the international and local levels and, on the other hand, the recorded voice of the members of the community is used, so for we insert paragraphs of interviews done with residents of the area observed. Finally, we reflect on the findings and the importance of considering and understanding the subjects that inhabit a certain place at the time of intervention, diagnose and propose improvement plans.
