Publishing in pest and weed management: who publishes and for whom?

Abstract

Editorial: It is widely acknowledged that assuring food and improving human livelihood in the coming future will partly depend on effective pest and weed management programmes. These programmes should not only reduce the problem to a minimum, but must consider, now more than ever, the effects of any actions taken on human health and on the environment. Approaches applied to manage pests and weeds fall within the concept of Integrated Pest Management.
