Pathos e política na Argentina kirchnerista: contribuicao para o estudo das emocoes nos discursos políticos

Abstract

Este artigo tem como objetivo indagar a relevância da dimensão passional na configuração de subjetividades políticas na Argentina na última década. O caso em estudo é a oratória do líder argentino Néstor Kirchner, na sua condição de Presidente da Nação e de chefe do Partido Justicialista. Interessados na relação entre emoções, imaginários sociais e política, abordamos as emoções dos discursos kirchneristas em duas instâncias da política nacional recente: a construção de legitimidade política durante o primeiro ano do governo Kirchner e durante o chamado “conflito com o campo”. Consideramos o papel respectivo de duas tópicas das emoções: a tópica da “refundação”, que interpreta a ascensão do novo governo como uma ruptura radical com a experiência neoliberal, e a tópica “nacional e popular”, que codifica as interpretações de uma medida impositiva em termos de uma reedição da histórica luta entre os interesses do povo e os interesses da oligarquia. Os resultados permitem perceber a importância das paixões na consolidação de dinâmicas de identificação.

This article aims to investigate the relevance of the emotional dimension in shaping political subjectivities in Argentina in the last decade. The case study is the oratory of the Argentine leader Néstor Kirchner as President of the Nation and as the head of the Justicialist Party. Interested in the relationship between emotions, social imaginary and politics, we take into consideration the emotions of the Kirchner’s addresses in two instances of recent national policy: the construction of political legitimacy in his first year as President and during the so called “conflict with the farming sectors”. We consider the respective roles of two emotional topics: the “refunding” topic, which translate the arrival of a new government as a radical break with the neoliberal experience, and “national and popular” topic, which encodes a tax measure in terms of a repetition of the historic struggle between the interests of the people and the interests of the oligarchy. The results point to the importance of passion in building identification’s dynamics.
