Mujeres-madres lactantes: nuevos cuerpos, nuevos discursos

Abstract

Este ensayo analiza cómo la fotografía de mujeres-madres lactantes se configura como un dispositivo discursivo productor de nuevas corporalidades y de nuevos discursos. Partiendo de la redefinición de las categorías “mujer”, “madre” y de su conjunción en el binomio “mujeresmadres lactantes”, y acompañado por el análisis de la metodología de trabajo de la crítica como sabotaje (Asensi, 2011), se ofrece una muestra de los modos de representación de estas nuevas corporalidades y de estos nuevos discursos. Asimismo, se bucea por las dinámicas de aceptación y/o rechazo de estos últimos con respecto a los viejos discursos que circulan en torno al relato del amamantamiento.

This essay analyses the way in which the photography of breastfeeding women-mothers turns into a producing discursive instrument of new corporealities and new discourses. Starting from the redefinition of the categories “woman” and “mother” and their conjunction in the binominal “breastfeeding women-mothers”, and making use of the criticism as sabotage as work methodology, this paper offers a sample of the ways of representation of these new corporealities and these new discourses. Also it presents an investigation of the dynamics of acceptance and/or rejection of the latter, regarding the old discourses that operate around the tale of breastfeeding.
