Naturaleza, erotismo y fantasía: El cuerpo en los sonetos de amor de poetisas hispanoamericanas

Abstract

En el presente artículo analizaremos una serie de poemas del tipo "soneto de amor", escritos por mujeres en lengua castellana, entre España y Latinoamérica, desde el siglo XVI y hasta el siglo XX. Para llevar a cabo este análisis nos guiará una hipótesis: que en estos sonetos de estas poetisas el cuerpo ocupa un lugar central. El cuerpo es, allí, tematizado en función del amor, y el amor es entendido como una combinación entre naturaleza, erotismo y fantasía. Esta hipótesis la estaré rastreando en una serie de escritoras que, a lo largo de cinco siglos, van desde sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, hasta Alfonsina Storni y Juana de Ibarbourou, por solo nombrar las más famosas. Para ver en qué medida sus ideas sobre el cuerpo y el amor se sostienen en cierto concepto de naturaleza, cierta primacía de lo erótico y cierta noción de fantasía, nos apoyaremos en un marco teórico amplio, que abarca desde el romanticismo hasta el feminismo, pasando por el psicoanálisis, la teoría crítica y el postestructuralismo.

In this paper we will analyze a series of poems of the "love sonnet" type, written by women in the Spanish language, between Spain and Latin America, from the 16th century to the 20th century. To carry out this analysis we will be guided by a hypothesis: that in these sonnets the body occupies a central place. There, the body is thematized in terms of love, and love is understood as a combination of nature, eroticism and/or fantasy. I will be tracing this hypothesis in a series of writers who, over five centuries, range from Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, to Alfonsina Storni and Juana de Ibarbourou, just to name the most famous. To see to what extent their ideas about the body and love are based on a certain concept of nature, a certain primacy of the erotic and a certain notion of fantasy, we will rely on a broad theoretical framework, which ranges from romanticism to feminism, passing through psychoanalysis, critical theory and poststructuralism.
