La narrativa utópica/distópica en lengua española (siglos XX y XXI)

Abstract

En este escrito presentamos el Dossier La narrativa utópica/distópica en lengua española (siglos XX y XXI) haciendo una concisa síntesis de los problemas que se estudian en él y de las principales categorías a las que apelan para examinarlos los diversos artículos. Por un lado, nos referimos a la dupla genérica utopía/distopía, que en la mayoría de los artículos aparece muy vinculada con el género “ciencia ficción”. Por otro, aludimos a la variedad de medios y formatos con que se cuentan las historias analizadas en el dossier.

In this paper, we present the Dossier Utopian/Dystopian Narratives in Spanish (20th and 21st centuries), providing a concise synthesis of the problems studied therein and the main categories invoked by the articles to examine them. On the one hand, we refer to the generic pair utopia/dystopia, which in most articles is closely linked to the science fiction genre. On the other hand, we allude to the variety of media and formats in which the stories analyzed in the dossier are communicated.
