De lo radicalmente otro: El último debate entre Jacques Derrida y Jean-Luc Marion

Abstract

The work of Jacques Derrida has found in Jean-Luc Marion a privileged interlocutor over the years. The extensive debates that the two authors have held on the themes of mystical theology and the question of the gift are famous. However, no attention has yet been paid to a third problematic in which the thinkers seem to dialogue and enrich their positions based on this exchange: the subject of animality. This article proposes that it is possible to trace a last and productive debate between them centered on this question that triggers an analysis of the scope of the notion of otherness.
