Analytical Realism: A Constructivist Perspective

Abstract

Expanding on Giordano’s proposition that Parsons’s analytical realism could be considered a precursor to constructivist theories, I explore this idea further by initiating a conversation with genetic epistemology. This is followed by an examination of the significance of the “frame of reference” concept in the context of Luhmann’s operative constructivism.
